RICKFORD THE GREAT

I’m sure everyone has seen those dumb bumper stickers on the back of peoples cars that say “COEXIST”, cleverly made out of various religious and pacifist symbols. They’re usually smack dab on the back of shitty rust-bucket cars, most of the time accompanied by various vegetarian themed stickers. If I threw up every time I was driving and saw a car with that dumb bumper sticker, I’d be trapped in my car drowning in my own discharge. I do think it’s great that people want multiple religions to exist peacefully. Too bad most people with this eye-sore on their car don’t actually care about religion and peace. Just the illusion that they’re tolerant and care about “the issues”. I took the liberty of revising the original design. I think my version had a little bit more honesty involved in it’s creation.

Trendy is what this “COEXIST” cow-pie is. The people who put this blue band-aid on their cars and fridges are the same people who wanted our government to bomb the shit out of the Middle East during 9-11. Apparently peaceful coexistence doesn’t apply when one person pisses off another, which completely destroys all credibility of this silly fad.

I wouldn’t think of this shit as such a joke if I knew the people who supported it were more than just slaves to trends. I’m sure the people with this bumper sticker think about what it means as often as they think about the taste of the inside of their rectums. The simple fact exists that the people who support this silly bullshit just don’t actually care about it. It’s all about image. Everything people do today is basically for public praise. Why else would vegetarians make it their duty to disturb all the patrons and exclaim to a restaurant that animals shouldn’t be eaten? If they don’t do that, then how else will they get attention? The people who have my respect are the people who help out their communities on their own time and don’t brag to the world about what they did, for the simple reason that they’re doing it for themselves and not for the approval of everyone else.

If you want to help, then help. Get off your ass and do some charitable work for a change. Buying a 5 dollar magnet and slapping it on your car isn’t helping anyone, even if “a portion of the proceeds might go to help promote religious equality.” You’re a slave to trends, and have nothing to feel good about.
